This is fantastic. I love the way you put this together. Not an easy one to write. Impressive stuff.

Thanks Jason - it was certainly an "interesting" challenge... ;-)

Hey, Danny! Great job on the post! Whew, you did an awesome job of working in all the posts- that would have kept me up half the night! I was going to dedicate my morning to work, but now that the carnival has begun, I might need to make other plans!!

Thanks for all your efforts here- gotta go- blogs to read!!
  • Danny Brown · 11 months ago
Well if I mentioned that the birds were starting to cheep, that might give you an idea? :)

Glad you enjoyed it and have fun with the blogs!
  • Katy · 11 months ago
Very cool! It reminds me of those posters kids used to make using candy bar wrappers ... you know, Bar None, you're the best ... No Snickers about it ...

No? Am I the only one that remembers that?

I think that's just you, Katy - though it sounds fun, so share some more! :)

I have to agree with Jason, this is not an easy type of article to write, but you've done it so eloquently. It flows very nicely, and I think I need to book off my entire afternoon to read all the great links you've posted.
  • Danny Brown · 11 months ago
Thanks Sudo - if it flows and makes sense then my work is done. :)
  • MSchechter · 11 months ago
Great Job Danny! About halfway through and I have a feeling my Google Reader is about to get a little heavier. How long did it take you to string this all into one storyline?!? Impressive!

Amazing stuff, it's a great idea and it flows so well! Thanks for letting me get involved and thanks for putting this together!
  • Lauren · 11 months ago
Wow - I can only imagine how long this post took to write and develop. Thanks for doing it though - loads of awesome information!
  • Hjortur Smarason · 11 months ago
Well done, Danny! You've turned this into a great quilt of blog post titles that actually make sense. Thanks for including me :)
    @hjortur

I do have my moments, Hjortur - not many, but I do have them. :) Thanks for helping make the post what it is.

I'm only about halfway through so far, but I just had to say: the rock star of my social media universe is YOU! Thank you (again) for the loads of valuable information.
  • Danny Brown · 11 months ago
Aww, thanks Jessie - that is way kind of you and you put a nice smile on my face for the rest of the day. :)
  • Drew Gneiser · 11 months ago
Great stuff! Thanks for putting this together. I'll be keeping my eye out next time you do a carnival.
  • litmanlive · 11 months ago
Thanks for the mention Danny, it's brilliant how it's all so seamless.

    Nice one.

Love the new site! And great job on the post! You've given me a high standard to think about as my blogging progresses. Fantastic.

As you already know, I'm prolly the blogger with the least amount of brain cells left, so where is the carnival? Is this it? Is it somewhere else? Who am I? Should I eat waffles this morning? ;) Seriously, I'm not much for blog carnivals, but I would like to know where it's at in case I have an urge to throw some beanbags at a milk bottle. Thanks and apologizing in advance for my lameness.
  • Danny Brown · 11 months ago
Yes, this is the carnival, Snow. :)

The job is to offer a number of blogs for readers to enjoy - much like having different pieces of entertainment to enjoy at a traditional carnival. Let me know how you get on with the beanbags ;-)
  • Snow Vandemore · 11 months ago
Thowing a beanbag at Danny for making me look stupid. Yes, it's always someone else's fault. LOL. Thanks for the reply.
  • Zoe · 11 months ago
This is so much better than a list! Great job pulling together a storyline :)

Small note: I just switched my main domain name, so the link for "Raising a Baby Blog" should now be:

Well.. Danny everyone has already told that its a good job done by you. I just want to say its outstanding.

I love the points and questions you raise here. There are so many reasons to become part of the social media craze. Personally, I use different social media sites for different purposes, and like your newest post suggests, I use a different voice for each one. Facebook is my choice for personal use and I love twitter for all the business relationships I'm building. I think this is only the beginning of of it. I expect there won't be anybody that isn't at least a little bit familiar with these social sites and what they're used for within the next year or two.

I don't like to agree on what others say. But unfortunately i have to agree, all of the above are rite... Danny that was really good article.

Hey, Danny. Excellent job, my friend. What a fun blog post. I can't even begin to imagine all the work that went in to putting it all together and getting it to read so well. I truly enjoyed reading it and following along. I only wish I'd read it sooner. You're working very hard, and it shows. Truly inventive product you're turning out. I'm duly impressed.
  • Danny Brown · 11 months ago
Thanks Lizz - who knows, maybe next time we'll see an entry or two from your good self? ;-)
